I cover within 20 miles of my home studio location in Devon (EX15 2AD), for all photo sessions. If you're based further afield please get in touch as I should be able to travel further so long as my additional expenses are covered.

First, I would like to say a massive congratulations on your new bundle of joy.

Your Newborn session can take up to 2-3 hours depending on how settled your baby is, this allows for feeding, changing and cuddles whenever needed. The more relaxed we all are the smoother the session goes: not only will the photos look better but you go away having made a precious time to remember.

The best time for you to have your Newborn session is before your baby reaches 21 days of age. This ensures the perfect amount of time for baby to be sleepy which creates a better chance of getting those sleepy, calm sweet poses we all love. During your shoot there will be a time for you to sit back and relax with a cup of tea or coffee, all whilst watching me work my magic.

I have a selection of wraps, headbands, hats and outfits you are welcome to use but if there is an item you are wanting to be incorporated such as a special teddy, blanket or outfit to make it more personal to you then please do let me know and I’ll be more than happy to try my best to include those items.

When's the best time to book?

I always recommend booking sooner rather than later. It’s never too early to book in a sense. I use your due date to secure your booking and keeping my diary free around that time. I will then ask you to contact me within the first 2-3 days of your baby’s birth so we can book in a firm date and time that suits you.

If you have had your baby already and have changed your mind on wanting baby photos then feel free to contact me and I’ll try my best to fit you in, just fill in a contact form and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Maternity sessions create once in a lifetime memories of such a truly wonderful and exciting time for you and your family which you will treasure for years and years to come. They are usually done between 30-36 weeks, this is for your comfort all whilst showing your lovely growing bump off. These sessions can be done at my home studio using my backdrops or out on location (within 20 miles of my home studio). I am willing to possibly travel further if needed but this would add a travel fee onto your session.

This session can also include your partner and any children you may already have making such special memories together as a growing family.

When's the best time to book?

I always recommend booking after you have had your 12 week scan and as soon as you know you would like photos taken. This gives us lots of time to get a date and time booked in that suits you.

From having my own family, I totally understand how important it is, in fact the most important thing is the world. Saving those precious moments is a massive deal for me. I am forever taking my own family photos but there is something about capturing the love, bond and content of other families that I just love.

No matter the age of your children, capturing your families personalities and love for each other all whilst having fun is my aim. Having worked in nurseries and pre schools before having my own family I totally understand every child is different and may take a little time to warm to the camera this is where we make it fun and less pressure to “smile” those natural laughs and smiles are always so much nicer anyway.
